Thabo Choga, MBA - PMP - CTAL-TM, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and academia. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the United Nations since May 2017, Thabo is responsible for structuring the organization's Technology PMO and managing projects using both traditional and agile methodologies. Concurrently, Thabo is a Senior Lecturer at the University of South Africa, focusing on research development and teaching graduate-level courses. Additional roles include Commercial Pilot with Delta since December 2019 and former Senior IT Security Program Manager at Illovo Sugar Africa, where Thabo led the implementation of the company's IT security program. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior IT Integration Specialist at the South African Reserve Bank and EMEA Head of Projects at IQPC. Thabo holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Africa and an MBA from Henley Business School.
