Barbrah Masare has a diverse work experience. Barbrah started their career as an IT Intern at the United States International University - Africa in 2013. In this role, they ensured a smooth transition and deployment of new equipment with Linux, installed and configured computer hardware and applications, and provided support to staff and clients. Barbrah also monitored and maintained computer systems and networks, troubleshooted system and network problems, and performed data backup and recovery using Acronis.

Barbrah Masare pursued their education in a chronological order as follows. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science. Simultaneously, from 2014 to 2017, they were enrolled at KCA University, where they also earned a Bachelor of Science degree, but this time in Information Technology. In 2015, they briefly studied at Techtuaries and attained a Certificate in Actuarial Techniques.
