Amanda Pitt is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in international organizations and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Advisor at the United Nations OCHA since March 2005, Amanda has held various leadership roles, including Head of Donor Visibility and Communications within the Financing & Partnerships Division. Previously, Amanda was the Regional Head of Communications at Open Society Foundations, focusing on human rights, climate, and social justice, and held several positions, such as Director of Strategic Communications and Chief Media Relations Officer. Amanda's early career includes roles at UNDP Ukraine and BBC World Service Trust, alongside significant consulting work for various international clients.
