Steven Var is an experienced Information Systems Assistant at the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund since February 2019, where responsibilities include supporting over 100 users with Office 365 and SharePoint Online, planning the migration of email services to cloud-based solutions, and drafting procurement documents. Prior to this role, Steven served as a Security Applications Associate at the NYC Department of Education from January 2016 to December 2018, focusing on technical support, incident analysis, and collaboration with the Application Development Team. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Manager at Bulletproof Comics Inc from June 2012 to January 2016, where Steven supervised daily operations, trained staff, assisted customers, and managed inventory. Steven holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Brooklyn College.
