Nuria Sanchez Martin is an experienced educator with a focus on teaching mathematics and science at the United Nations International School since September 2018. Prior to this role, Nuria taught fourth grade at the same institution, emphasizing math aligned with Common Core Standards and literacy through Reader's and Writer's Workshop models. Additional teaching experience includes four years as a fourth-grade teacher at The English School in Bogota, where the International Baccalaureate Curriculum was implemented, and two years as a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher at Francis Holland School. Nuria began the teaching career as a Foreign Language Assistant at Wakefield Grammar School Foundation, supporting students in Spanish. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Educational Management from Universidad Camilo José Cela and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in Foreign Languages from King's College London.
