Barbora Zamrska is an experienced human rights and operations professional with a solid background in international relations. As an Associate Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since September 2018, Barbora supports the Working Group on the use of mercenaries. Previously, as a Joint Operations Officer at the United Nations Peacekeeping from March 2017 to September 2018, Barbora was integral to the Joint Operations Centre, focusing on situation reporting and crisis management. Barbora’s earlier roles include Reporting Officer at EUPOL COPPS, Political Analyst at OSCE, Junior Expert in Delegation at the European External Action Service, and Foreign Policy Officer at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic. Barbora holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin and a Master's degree in International Relations from Sciences Po.
