April Mercado is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in project management and creative direction. Currently serving as a Senior Project Specialist at United Methodist Communications since November 2013, April provides vital communications relief and training to communities affected by disasters in the Philippines. Previously, April held the position of Creative Director at Visual Authors Media Productions from August 2004 to November 2022, fostering skills in digital development, social media content creation, and video production. April began a career in the industry as a Marketing Specialist and Associate Producer at Real Illusions Productions from August 2002 to September 2004. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Centro Escolar University and ongoing studies for a Master of Integrated Marketing Communication at Miriam College.
