Heather Burd has extensive experience in both nursing and law enforcement. Since March 2021, Heather has been serving as a Registered Nurse at United Memorial Medical Center. Prior to this role, Heather worked at the Santa Fe Police Department from July 2006 to July 2017, where roles included Patrol Sergeant, Detective, and Patrol Officer. Heather's career in law enforcement began at Alvin Police Department from June 2002 to July 2006 as a Communications Officer. Education was obtained at Alvin Community College.
