Laurie Maruszewski CPA, CMA, is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Division Controller in the Petroleum sector at UFA since April 2018, following a role as Manager of Accounting for AgriBusiness. Previously, Laurie held the position of Controller at CHS from September 2016 to January 2018. A significant portion of Laurie's career was spent at Encana Corporation, where roles included Director of Corporate Accounting and Finance Team Lead for the Canadian Division Operational Reporting. Early career experience at Encana also involved leadership in finance for various business units and participation in significant projects such as the JDE System Conversion. Laurie holds a Certified Management Accountant designation since 2001 and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from The University of Lethbridge, complemented by prior education at Medicine Hat College.
