Thuwan Imran is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as a Senior Accountant at United Development Company (UDC) since June 2011. Responsibilities include examining financial records, preparing financial statements, interpreting statistical data, advising management on strategic decisions, and overseeing investment property data management. Previously, Thuwan held senior roles at UFMCO and Glitter O.M.C, overseeing accounting cycles, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control systems. Thuwan has also worked as a Senior Accountant at Masseh Specialized Contracting, a Visiting Lecturer at Jayasekara Management Center, and an Executive at the Colombo Stock Exchange. Earlier career experience includes a role as Audit Supervisor at KPMG Sri Lanka. Thuwan holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
