Tom Palmer began their work experience in 1988 at Aetna/US Healthcare as a Producer Sales. Tom continued working there until 2001. In 2003, they joined United Concordia as a Senior VP and their tenure there is ongoing.

Tom Palmer attended Roman Catholic High School from 1980 to 1984. Following high school, they enrolled at La Salle University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Finance from 1984 to 1988. Later on, they pursued an Executive MBA from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, completing the program from 2010 to 2012.
