Laja Sorunke serves as the Group Head of IT & E-banking Control at UBA since January 2013, focusing on implementing robust control procedures to monitor the expanding portfolio of E-Banking products, manage transaction volumes, minimize income leakages, and enhance fraud prevention measures within the bank. Additionally, Laja has held the role of Group Head of IT Audit at United Bank for Africa Plc since 1994, contributing extensive expertise in internal control and audit functions throughout the organization.
