Marybeth Seitz-Brown currently serves as the Deputy Organizing Director at the International Union, UAW, since November 2024. Previously, as an Organizer for the Congress of Connecticut Community Colleges (4Cs) from August 2023 to November 2024, Seitz-Brown led efforts to restore $100 million in funding cuts to the community college system and developed an electoral member canvassing program. In their role at SEIU 1199NE from June 2022 to August 2023, Seitz-Brown successfully organized nursing home workers across Connecticut and mentored aspiring field organizers. Seitz-Brown’s experience also includes a position as Senior Organizer and Interim Organizing Director at The NewsGuild of New York from November 2017 to June 2022, where leadership development in organizing campaigns was emphasized. Earlier roles include Senior Program Associate and Executive Assistant to the President & CEO at the Roosevelt Institute. Seitz-Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Columbia University and a Master's in Labor Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
