Anand Unadkat is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of Credit & ESG Risk and Head of Risk Strategy & Model Validation at United Arab Bank, Anand spearheads initiatives related to Risk Appetite Framework, ESG risk management, and RAROC programs. Prior to this, Anand held the position of VP - Risk Management at First Abu Dhabi Bank, focusing on enterprise risk management and regulatory reporting. Anand began a career in finance as a Senior Accountant at Pharmalink Drug Store and has also served in senior executive roles analyzing tax law and corporate finance issues. Anand is a Chartered Accountant, having completed education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the University of Mumbai.
