John Leinaweaver is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing serverless applications using AWS technologies, Ruby, Python, and HashiCorp Terraform at Unite Us since January 2022. Previous roles include implementing a FHIR-based backend API service at Optum to meet CMS Blue Button requirements, and working as a Java Developer at Cambia Health Solutions on backend projects linked to clinical healthcare benefits. Early in the career, John contributed significantly at Oracle as a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, facilitating the development of new Oracle Cloud Services and collaborating with various stakeholders. Additional experience includes quality assurance engineering at Mitron and technical staff roles at SAIC. John holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Penn State University.
