Nicole Ingutia is an experienced Program Counselor at Uniserv Education since July 2021, with prior roles as a Psychologist Volunteer at Befrienders Kenya and as a Psychologist Intern at Nairobi Place Addiction Treatment Centre. In the internship and volunteer roles, responsibilities included counseling clients with substance use addictions and psychiatric disorders, facilitating group therapy sessions, conducting psycho-education, and performing mental assessments. Nicole also gained experience through a brief internship at The Retreat Rehabilitation Centre, focusing on client counseling, report writing, and family therapy. An earlier legal internship at Wandabwa Advocates involved client interviews, legal research, and case brief writing. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Counseling from Daystar University and a Cambridge International General Certificate of Education at the Advanced Level from Rusinga School Nairobi.
