Vera Benavente is an experienced laboratory professional currently serving as Senior Lab Manager in Research at uniQure since September 2021. Prior to this role, Vera spent over eight years at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where responsibilities included managing daily lab operations, troubleshooting equipment, and organizing practical courses in Microbiology and Genetics. Vera also held positions as a Research Assistant Laboratory Manager and a researcher/laboratory technician, focusing on consumable management and lab maintenance. Vera's early experience includes a role as a guest researcher and team leader in a call center.
