Dr. Dazhong Gu is the Power Electronics Team Lead at UTS, he plays a leading role in UTS power electronics product development for next-generation transportation electrification. Dazhong’s leadership drives new concepts in advanced power conversion and energy storage technologies into commercialization. His daily efforts are in topology selection, circuit design, modeling analysis, and team management. Dazhong obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University, during which he did lots of sponsored research for aerospace applications. Prior to joining UTS, Dazhong was a senior research engineer at United Technologies Research Center, in Connecticut.
