Edyta Sitko is an experienced campaign strategist with a focus on energy and environmental issues. Currently serving as the Energy Campaign Organizing Manager and previously as the Midwest Senior Campaign Coordinator at the Union of Concerned Scientists since April 2019, Edyta has a strong background in organizing and engagement. Prior roles include leading global engagement for the #MakeSmthng Project and managing field organizers at Greenpeace from May 2007 to February 2019. Edyta also provided strategic direction for field operations as the Regional Volunteer Unit Head in the Greenpeace Mediterranean region and served as a Senior Field Organizer at the Fund for Public Interest Research. Edyta began a career in organizational roles at Indiana University Bloomington, where responsibilities included supervising the stage crew for the School of Music. Edyta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, German, and Western European Studies from Indiana University Bloomington.
