Kathleen D. Bailey is an accomplished nonfiction and fiction writer with a focus on historical themes. At Arcadia Publishing since March 2018, Kathleen has published historical local nonfiction, often collaborating with daughter Sheila on various books. In the same year, Kathleen signed a contract for a debut novel, a Christian historical romance set on the Oregon Trail. Additional experience includes freelance writing for the New Hampshire Union Leader and various publications, covering a range of topics including local government and community features. Kathleen's journalism background is extensive, having served as a main reporter, Londonderry reporter, and assistant editor for Nutfield Publishing, and working with Seacoast Media Group as a writer/editor for over a decade. Educational achievements include a cum laude Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of New Hampshire Durham.
