Lee Schaefer has extensive experience in education and program management, currently serving as a Teacher at Union County Vocational-Technical Schools since January 2022. Prior roles include Policy Director and Special Projects Manager at NJSACC from February 2009 to January 2022, where coordination with senior leadership involved planning and disseminating best practices for afterschool programming in New Jersey. Additional experience includes Special Projects Manager at Newark Mentoring Movement, Campaign Manager for Gilman for Ward 3, Director of Operations at the League of Young Voters, and Program Assistant at Open Society Foundations. Educational credentials comprise a Bachelor's degree in Economics from New York University and ongoing Master's studies in American History at Gettysburg College, alongside completing the Rutgers Alternate Path program.
