Belma Kuruzovic is an experienced risk management professional with a career spanning over 15 years, currently serving as the Director of Risk Controlling and Management Sector at UNION BANKA d.d. Sarajevo since November 2012. In this role, Belma oversees the compliance and effectiveness of the bank's risk management functions, ensuring alignment with supervisory requirements and evaluating the institution's risk strategy. Previous positions held include Head of Risk Controlling and Compliance Department, Head of Risk Controlling Department, Financial Risk Control Specialist, and Credit Risk Control Specialist, all within UNION BANKA. Earlier experience includes asset quality management roles at ProCredit Bank and Osiguranje dd Sarajevo. Belma holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Insurance from the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo.
