Brian Dy, CFA, serves as Vice President and Senior Equities Portfolio Manager at UnionBank of the Philippines since November 2023. Previously, Brian held the position of Research Manager at Kickstart Ventures, Inc. from May 2021 to October 2023, and worked as a VC Investor at VU Venture Partners for a short tenure in early 2021. Prior to that, Brian accumulated experience as an Equity Fund Manager and Senior Equities Analyst at Sun Life of Canada (Philippines) from May 2015 to April 2021. Brian's earlier roles include Equity Research Analyst at SB Equities Inc. and Investment Analyst at First Metro Investment Corporation. Brian began the career as an Investment Officer at BDO Unibank Inc. between March 2008 and December 2010. Brian is a CFA Charterholder, having obtained this designation in 2015, and completed a one-year course in Trust Operations and Investment Management from the Trust Institute Foundation of the Philippines in 2009. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Ateneo de Manila University, earned in 2007.
