Janne Kärkkäinen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Janne started their career at Picaset Oy in 2001 as a Graphic Operator and worked there until 2003. In 2005, they joined Sanoma Media Finland as a Graphic Operator for a brief period before transitioning to Unigrafia Oy. At Unigrafia, they held various production positions from 2005 to 2008. Janne then served as a Project Coordinator at printing services from 2008 to 2016 and later became a Customer Service Supervisor from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, Janne joined the University of Helsinki as an IT Helpdesk Supervisor and continued in that role until 2022. Currently, they work as a Project Manager at Unigrafia, starting in November 2021.

Janne Kärkkäinen began their education in 1995 at Koivukylän lukio, where they completed their matriculation examination in 1999. Following this, they attended Helsingin tekniikan alan oppilaitos from 2000 to 2001 for upper secondary education, specializing in graphic and printing equipment operation and general production. In 2003, Janne enrolled at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in media engineering. Janne successfully completed this program in 2008.
