Mark Raj is a highly skilled Data Engineer currently employed at Lightbird since July 2023. Previously, Mark gained valuable experience as a Data Analytics Intern at The New York Times, where significant contributions included developing dashboards for system performance monitoring and building ETL pipelines to process extensive push data. With a strong foundation in data science, Mark worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Data Science Institute at Vanderbilt University, creating predictive machine learning models and implementing NLP algorithms. Additional roles include a Teaching Assistant position in Computer Science, internships at NBCUniversal and HiveDesk, and research assistance at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University and completed a study abroad program in Data Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
