Karie Kelly

VP, Product Management at Unifocus

Karie Kelly has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the product management field. Starting in 2003, they worked as a QA Manager at T-Mobile HotSpot, where they were responsible for quality and documentation in the development of web applications and client products.

In 2004, they joined Corprasoft as a Product and QA Manager, managing quality assurance, release management, and documentation efforts for a legal department software application.

In 2007, they continued their product management career at DataCert, where they researched industry competitors and worked with sales and customers to assess product gaps and identify needed features.

From 2008 to 2011, Karie served as the Director of Product Management & Operations at Orange Leap, overseeing the development and introduction of a new multi-tenant SaaS constituent management offering. Karie also implemented solutions to improve issue and task tracking systems and documentation.

During their time at Clearview Staffing Software as a Product Manager in 2008, they assessed existing engineering operations and implemented a release management process and requirement processes to improve organizational structure and customer communication.

From 2011 to 2016, Karie worked at Phytel Inc as a Manager of Product Business Analysts and Education. Karie led the evolution of Phytel Engage, collaborated with client development partners to establish priorities, and developed user interface designs and requirements.

At IBM Watson Health Care from 2016 to 2019, they served as the Watson Health - Offering Management Lead, focusing on the delivery and growth of care management solutions and expanding into multiple markets.

From 2019 to 2022, Karie was the Vice President of Product Management at WebPT, where they were accountable for the platform and harmonization capabilities across brands and leading integration strategies.

Currently, they are the VP of Product Management at Unifocus, responsible for the company's global product organization and strategy, driving product innovation and customer engagement.

In addition to their industry experience, Karie is also involved in initiatives for women leadership and empowerment, as seen in their role as Chief in a private network called Chief.

Karie Kelly has a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University. Karie also pursued further education at Southern Methodist University, where they earned a master's degree in Engineering Management. Karie then went on to complete continuing studies in doctoral education in software engineering and manufacturing engineering at Southern Methodist University. Additionally, they obtained another bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and a master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Southern Methodist University.
