Rob Dornier has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Rob began their career as a Student Computer Technician at Texas A&M University where they worked in the Department of Economics & Private Enterprise Research Center.
After their university role, Rob joined The VIA Group, Inc. as a Senior Unified Communications Engineer. Rob worked with local and global client businesses to design, implement, and support Unified Communications solutions. Rob was also responsible for training and certification programs, and served as the Avaya Beta and Microsoft UM TAP liaison for the company. Rob received an award for their efforts in improving the onboarding and training process and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Following their time at The VIA Group, Rob worked at Technology Solutions Group, Inc. as a Unified Communications Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for engineering, implementing, and managing telecommunications voice messaging projects.
Rob then joined Insource Technology as a Technical Consultant before moving on to The Via Group, Inc. where they took on the roles of Project Manager and Support Desk Manager. As a Support Desk Manager, Rob managed ticket requests from annuity maintenance customers and ensured prompt resolution by assigning resources and monitoring progress.
After working at The Via Group, Rob joined LogicalisUS as a Project Manager. Rob managed projects, teams, and financial reporting while ensuring customer and vendor expectations were met.
Rob also had a significant role at ABNS - All Business Network Specialists where they served as a Business Analyst and later as a Senior Project Engineer. In these roles, they developed customer and partner relationships, planned and supported structured cabling, security, voice, and technology migration projects.
Currently, Rob Dornier is working at UnifiedCommunications.com as a Technology Evangelist and Project Manager. In this position, they integrate, configures, demonstrates, and supports communications and collaboration solutions. Rob is also involved in customer, partner, and internal technology projects, delivering an extraordinary experience to all stakeholders.

Rob Dornier has a diverse education history. Rob attended Klein High School from 1992 to 1996, focusing on engineering, computer programming, and education. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A&M University from 1996 to 2003. At Texas A&M, they studied geography and obtained minors in military leadership (ROTC), business, GIS, and urban planning.
In addition to their formal education, Rob Dornier also has various certifications. In 2004, they obtained the CompTIA A+ certification. In 2011, they received the Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) in Avaya Modular Messaging® with Avaya Message Store. In 2012, they achieved the Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) in Avaya Aura Messaging. In 2013, they obtained the Avaya Support Professional Specialist (ASPS) in Avaya one-X® Speech and the Avaya Support Professional Specialist (ASPS) in Avaya Modular Messaging® with Microsoft Exchange. In 2018, they earned the Basic Plus (19BH) certification from the Houston Area Safety Council, as well as the Blackberry Support Professional (BSP) Accreditation and Blackberry System Integration Professional (BSIP) Accreditation from BlackBerry. Later in 2018, they also acquired the Avaya Professional Specialist - Sales (APSS) - Avaya Midmarket Solutions certificate. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the Microsoft Collaboration Solutions 2019 certificate from HP.
