Maiah Matthews has a diverse work experience. Maiah is currently working as an Account Coordinator at Unified since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Virtual Assistant at ThinkBeyond Public Relations from June 2021 to December 2022. In May 2022, they worked as a Social Media Manager at Xperience Live. From January 2021 to July 2022, they held the position of Social Media Manager at Kingdom Solution. Before that, they worked at the Council for Opportunity in Education as a Program Assistant from October 2019 to June 2021 and as a Digital Communications Intern from June 2019 to September 2019. Maiah also gained experience as a Circulation Desk Student Assistant and Student Library Assistant at Calvin University from January 2016 to May 2019. Additionally, they interned as a Marketing and Communications Intern at Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance from February 2019 to April 2019 and as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Bethany's Thrift Store, Bethany Christian Services from September 2018 to December 2018. Overall, Maiah has a strong background in social media management, virtual assistance, program coordination, and digital communications.

Maiah Matthews completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia at Calvin University from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended St. Joseph High School from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Maiah has obtained two certifications. In May 2021, they received a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. In March 2021, they completed the Introduction to Social Media Marketing course through Coursera.
