Kailah Bharath has extensive experience in the field of marketing and communications. Kailah most recently served as the Head of Marketing at Unified API Inc. since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Marketing Consultant at kailahbharath.work from December 2022.
From January 2022 to May 2022, Kailah served as the Director of Product Marketing, SMB Division at Vendasta. Kailah also worked as a Product Marketing Manager for CalendarHero (Acq.) during October 2021 to January 2022.
Kailah co-founded Syzygy Toronto in May 2017 where they served as the Creative Director until September 2020. Kailah then transitioned into an advisory role until December 2021.
Previously, Kailah worked as the Intermediate Marketing Manager (Product & Growth Marketing Lead) at CalendarHero from May 2019 to October 2021. Kailah also had marketing and communication roles at Coralus from August 2017 to April 2018, and at Nordest Studio from February 2016 to March 2018.
Kailah began their career as a Writer and Content Strategist at WE.org from July 2013 to January 2016. Kailah also gained experience as an Online Managing Editor at The Ryersonian from February 2013 to May 2013, and as a Writer and Business Development Associate at Women's Post Media from June 2012 to September 2012.
Kailah Bharath completed their Bachelor of Journalism degree from Ryerson University from 2009 to 2013. Kailah also studied abroad at the Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo in 2011, focusing on Multimedia Journalism. In 2016, they attended BrainStation for a program on Digital Marketing.
In terms of additional certifications, Kailah obtained the Social Media Marketing certification from Hootsuite in December 2018. Kailah also received the Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in January 2022. Recently, they completed the MBA Essentials program from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in August 2022. Additionally, they hold the Product Marketing Certified (PMCC) designation from the Product Marketing Alliance, which they obtained in June 2022.
