Jane Li has a diverse work experience. Jane started their career as a Strategic Events Intern at Macmillan Cancer Support in July 2018, where they worked until September 2018. Later, in October 2018, they briefly worked as a Social Innovation Consultant at The Cambridge Hub. Jane then joined UNICEF UK as a Corporate Partnerships Team Administrator in November 2019 and worked there until October 2020. Jane was promoted to the role of Corporate Partnerships Executive in October 2020 and currently holds the position of Corporate Partnerships Manager since October 2021.

Jane Li attended the University of Cambridge from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History.
