Levon Hovsepyan has a comprehensive work experience in the field of procurement and supply chain management. Levon started their career at The World Bank as a Procurement Officer and worked there from 1997 to 2003. Levon then joined UNDP as a Procurement Associate from 2003 to 2006. Levon then worked as a Procurement Assistant at UNFCCC from 2007 to 2008. Levon further moved on to International Procurement Group, where they served as a Sr. Procurement Specialist and Chief of Development Projects from 2008 to 2014. Levon then joined IDLO - International Development Law Organization as the Global Procurement Lead from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they are working at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and has held multiple roles including Senior Supply Officer, Senior Procurement Officer, and currently, they hold the position of Head of Sourcing and Global Markets.
Levon Hovsepyan holds a Master's degree in Development studies from Jones International University - UNDP Virtual Development Academy in NY, USA, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Levon also pursued postgraduate study in Finance and Financial Management Services at YSUE from 1995 to 1998, and obtained a Bachelor's degree in the same field from YSUE from 1990 to 1995.
