Floyd "John" G. is a highly experienced professional in plant science with a distinguished career spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as the Director of Plant Science at Fyto, Inc. since August 2023, Floyd previously held key roles at Unfold, including Director of Engineering and Operations and Director of Plant Performance from January 2022 to June 2023. At Arcadia Biosciences, from January 2006 to September 2021, Floyd functioned as the Director of R&D, managing a diverse research team of 18 and overseeing multiple projects related to hemp and wheat. Earlier experience includes positions as Research Manager and Research Associate, demonstrating expertise in controlled growth operations and marker assisted breeding.
