Don Schmidt currently serves as the Market Development Manager for Metal Working at Uneeda since September 2023. Prior to this role, Don accumulated extensive experience in sales management and engineering, including positions as Regional Sales Manager at Osborn from July 2006 to September 2023, Sales Engineer at Lippert Abrasives from July 2001 to July 2006, and various roles such as Assistant Product Manager and Application Engineer at Engis Corporation from June 1997 to June 2001. Don began their career as a Toolmaker at Carbi-Grind, where Don worked from June 1982 to June 1997. Don holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Harper College and a Journeyman Certificate in Machining from the Tooling and Manufacturing Association.
