Thierry Soret is an experienced professional specializing in global governance and multilateral affairs, currently serving as the Coordinator for G20 and Multilateral Affairs in the Global Policy Engagement Unit at UNDP since July 2007. Soret has also held the position of UNDP Senior Policy Adviser to the G20 Presidency during the G20 Saudi Secretariat, focusing on strengthening partnerships for sustainable development and addressing global challenges in alignment with the 2030 Agenda. Prior to roles at UNDP, Soret served as Executive Director at Confrontations Europe, overseeing working groups on governance, trade, and foreign policy, and as Coordinator of the Globalization Pole for the Parti Socialiste. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in International/Global Studies from Sciences Po and an entrance exam for Public Administration from ENA - Ecole nationale d'administration.
