Saurabh Sharma currently serves as the Global Technical Lead - Insurance for Development at UNDP, overseeing nature resilience and insurance innovation initiatives across 27 project countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Previously, Saurabh held key roles at Britam, including Director of Emerging Consumers and General Manager of Microinsurance, where Saurabh focused on expanding financial services for underserved segments through partnerships and innovative models. Prior experience includes an Impact Insurance Fellowship at the International Labour Organization, enhancing inclusive insurance portfolios through digital innovation, and advisory roles in various capacities at consulting firms and government organizations. Saurabh holds an MBA from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from HP State Agriculture University.
