Myers Reece is an accomplished journalist and executive director at Underscore Native News since early 2022, leading organizational growth through strategic planning and community engagement focused on tribal issues. Prior experience includes serving as managing editor at Underscore News, where oversight of editorial operations and freelance networks facilitated the dissemination of Indigenous reporting. Additionally, Reece has held leadership roles such as president of the Asian American Journalists Association's Portland chapter and managing editor positions at Flathead Beacon Productions and Flathead Living. A prolific writer, Reece's work has appeared in various publications, and notable contributions include essays featured in anthologies. Reece holds a B.A. in History from the University of Montana.
