Carrie Johnson is a graduate student at New York University since August 2024, with a background in journalism and communications. Currently serving as a reporter for Underscore Native News, Carrie is involved in campaigns showcasing the organization's new branding. Previously, experience includes a summer internship focusing on Indigenous journalism, resulting in published articles and multimedia projects. Additional roles include softball instructor at DBAT-Allen, fellowship at the Native American Journalists Association, and various positions in media, including project intern at Retro Report and sports writer for the Herald Democrat. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Austin College, with prior studies at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
