Jessica Affatato has worked in the food and hospitality industry since 2008. Jessica began their career as a Spa Retailer at The Peninsula Hotels. In 2014, they became the Owner of The Cheesemonger. Jessica then took on the role of Head Cheesemonger and Lead Buyer at Red Maple Market in 2015. In 2016, they became the Lead Cheesemonger and Buyer at The Village Cheese Shop. From 2017 to 2021, they were the Owner of Harbor Cheese and Provisions. Currently, they are the Customer Experience & Marketing Manager and Concierge at Underground Cellar.
Jessica Affatato graduated from Binghamton University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema. In 2021, they obtained a Certified Cheese Professional certification from the American Cheese Society, a WSET Level 2 Wine certification from the International Wine Center (IWC), and a Food Handler's Certification from Suffolk County in 2016.
