Ryan Black has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Ryan began their career as an Operations Assistant at 70JOHN, a contemporary design and home-furnishings showroom. In this role, they provided administrative support to the President of Operations, was responsible for updating inventory, organizing stock/sales, and maintaining client relationships. Ryan also assisted in the set up and breakdown of the company booth at two New York design trade shows, and accompanied an interior designer on site visits. In 2010, Ryan became an Assistant Menswear Buyer (internship) at Steven Alan. Ryan's responsibilities included attending showroom visits for both Men's and Women's Holiday and Spring/Summer 2012 buys, creating and updating purchase orders, receiving logs, and selling and trend reports. Ryan was also involved in the selection of Men's Spring 2012 vendors for Tribeca, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and San Francisco stores. Finally, since 2014, Ryan has been an Assistant to the CEO at Uncharted Play.

Ryan Black attended Green Mountain College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Fine/Studio Arts, General/Liberal Arts and Studies.
