Dhruv Bansal has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dhruv is currently the Co-Founder and CSO of Unchained Capital, a company that provides financial services and custody solutions for bitcoin holders. Prior to this, Dhruv worked as a Co-Founder of Perfect Timing, LLC, where they provided consulting services in designing and architecting new data, cloud, and AI systems. Dhruv also conducted code and design reviews, identified scalability issues, and performed technical due diligence.

Dhruv's career includes working at CSC, where they served as a Director after the company acquired Infochimps, a startup they co-founded. At CSC, they led a team of consultants in finding new customers for the Big Data Platform and educated teams within the company about Big Data and Cloud technologies.

Before their time at CSC, Dhruv was the Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at Infochimps, a data technology provider. Their work involved utilizing open-source Big Data technology and cloud providers, as well as automation tools like Chef. Dhruv pivoted the company from a data marketplace to a data technology provider and directly sold their platform to Enterprise customers.

Dhruv also has a background in academia, having been a PhD candidate in the Center for Nonlinear Dynamics at the University of Texas at Austin. Their research focused on statistical physics of large networks and their applications in various real-world systems.

Dhruv has held research assistant positions at the City University of New York, where they applied time series correlation analysis in fMRI experiments, and at the Perimeter Institute, where they gained knowledge in quantum field theory models. Dhruv also worked as an instructor at The Princeton Review and as a research assistant in the Department of Mathematics at Columbia University.

Dhruv Bansal completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Physics from Columbia University, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2011.
