Michael Casson is the Head of Technology Partnerships at Uncapped. Prior to this, they spent two years as the Head of Partnerships & Business Development - EMEA & APAC at PrestaShop, a leading open-source e-commerce platform used by 300,000 merchants worldwide.
At PrestaShop, Michael led a team tasked at securing strategic partnerships with payment, SaaS, and logistics solution providers headquartered in EMEA & APAC. Their role responsibilities included recruitment and management of partner managers, developing and deploying partnership strategy, and managing partnership implementation with executive stakeholders across legal, product, marketing, and international teams. Michael was also responsible for the region's budget of technology partnerships (c. 50) and agency network (80 partners), and led new business development efforts that spanned across all b2b e-commerce verticals, including payment, shipping, marketing, marketplace, and administration solutions.
Some notable partnerships Michael secured during their time at PrestaShop include Revolut, Adyen, Klarna, Mollie, Clearpay, DHL, Sendcloud, Spring, Tiktok, Tradedoubler, Retargeting, Alibaba, Fruugo, Magnalister, Usercentrics, Taxdoo, and Global-e.
Michael Casson received their BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis in Accounting and International Business. Michael then went on to earn their BSBA from Cass Business School in Financial Markets & Institutions and International Business. Finally, they received their Master of Accountancy from DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Michael is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the AICPA.
Michael Casson reports to Piotr Pisarz, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Uche Graves - Head of Communications, Kami Dobrzynski - Head of Engineering, and Justin Langen - Head of Investor Partnerships.
