Pedro Mota is currently working as a Senior AI Researcher at Unbabel since October 2019. Before joining Unbabel, Pedro completed their Ph.D. in a dual degree program at Carnegie Mellon University / Instituto Superior Técnico from August 2012 to July 2019. Prior to that, Pedro worked as an IT Consultant at INESC-ID from May 2012 to October 2012, focusing on a Natural Language interface project in online banking services. Pedro also worked as a Research Intern at INESC-ID from 2010 to 2012, where Pedro developed a Natural Language Understanding module for the FalaComigo project, funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
