Bhogendra Mishra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in remote sensing, GIS, and data analysis. Currently serving on the Editorial Board for Remote Sensing in Ecology and Conservation since July 2024 and as an Editor for PLOS ONE since January 2023, Bhogendra also works as a Data Expert for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and co-founded Science Hub in December 2019. Previously held positions include Research Fellow at the Policy Research Institute, Remote Sensing and GIS Expert at Oxford Policy Management, and Researcher at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation of the University of Twente. Bhogendra's career also includes roles in application development and lecturing. Academically, Bhogendra holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from Kyoto University and the Asian Institute of Technology, respectively, as well as a Master's degree in Computer Science.
