Rachel B. is an experienced professional in talent and organizational development, currently serving as VP and Manager of Talent and Organizational Development at Umpqua Bank since March 2023, following the merger with Columbia Bank. Prior to this role, Rachel held multiple positions at Columbia Bank from November 2018 to March 2023, including VP of Talent Development and People Analytics Program Manager. Rachel's extensive experience also includes a tenure at Amazon from April 2011 to November 2018, with roles such as Senior Program Manager for the Finance Leadership Development Program and HR Business Partner for Worldwide Operations Finance. Earlier career experience includes managerial and generalist roles in human resources at Via Radiology and Sound Options Inc., as well as an internship at the U.S. Department of Energy. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Management from the University of Idaho, obtained between 2004 and 2008.
