Yukari studied and conducted research in the aquacultural ecosystem at University of Tokyo after finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in marine science. Her Master’s Degree consists of a double degree in International Development for Fisheries and Biodiversity. She has 10+ years of experience in research and consulting, focusing on the primary and food industries. She started her career at Mitsubishi Research Institute Inc., which is one of the major think tanks in Japan. Later in her career, she supported Deloitte Japan’s Public Sector business. Additionally, she spent three years at an international culinary institute where she helped establish a joint degree on food management with a local university and developed food export strategies for external organizations. Her favorite marine animal is the dolphin.
