Mike Morland has extensive experience in communications and marketing within higher education and media sectors. As the Director of Communications & Marketing for the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the University of Michigan since January 2012, Mike leads the strategic planning and execution of multimedia activities. Previously, Mike served as the Communications and Marketing Manager in the same office and as the Communications Director for the University of Michigan Detroit Center. Mike founded Sports Radio Detroit, overseeing all operations and on-air talent while also managing marketing and analytics. Early career roles include Marketing Coordinator at The Henry Ford, Security Officer, Sales Associate at Best Buy, and Production Assistant at CBS Radio. Mike holds two Bachelor's Degrees in Communications from the University of Michigan, focusing on Print Journalism and Electronic Media.
