Jonathan Johnson is a PhD candidate specializing in Geological and Earth Sciences at the University of Maryland, with an expected graduation in 2024. Concurrently, Jonathan holds a position as a geologist at the USGS, Florence Bascom Geoscience Center since May 2019. Previous experience includes serving as a facility supervisor at the WVU Student Recreation Center from December 2017 to May 2019, and six years as a fire team leader in the United States Air Force, culminating in an honorable discharge in May 2017. Jonathan earned a degree in Geology from West Virginia University in July 2020.
