Jason Bertman has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on roles such as Principal Solutions Architect, Security Researcher, and Senior Offensive Threat Researcher. Jason has worked at companies such as UltraViolet Cyber, Synack Red Team, Stage 2 Security, and Datto, Inc. In these positions, they have been responsible for executing cutting-edge red team engagements, pentests, and security assessments, as well as designing and implementing cloud-native infrastructure and tooling. Jason Bertman earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Shepherd University. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications. Jason became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in January 2019 from (ISC)². In November 2015, they achieved the Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) certification from Offensive Security. Jason also obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in April 2015. Additionally, they obtained the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification from GIAC in December 2014.
