Alicia Pennington Harrison has held various roles in the technology sector since 1994. Starting as a Programmer 1 at California State University-Sacramento, they then moved to Continuing Development Inc | Child Development Centers as Director of Technology, where they developed a comprehensive database to track regional employees. In 1999, they began working as a Technology Consultant - Circuit Rider for CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, introducing technology to day care centers in five states. From 2001 to 2005, they were a Technology Consultant and Lead Program Manager at The California Endowment, making recommendations for technical infrastructure upgrades and providing technical assistance and training to over 200 grantees. In 2005, they became a Lead Implementation Specialist and Trainer at Maximus Management and Operations LLC, working closely with a large California school district to ensure a successful go-live of SchoolMAX Linc for 45 elementary schools. From 2008 to 2019, they were a Senior Analyst at Harris Computer, acting as a Scrum Master for two different teams of developers and creating requirements documents for software enhancements and bug fixes. Finally, in 2019, they became a Partner at Redman & Harrison Conservatorships, helping families navigate the Courts, Social Security, Insurance Companies, and Lawyers when it comes to Conservatorships and Administration of Estates. In 2020, they began working at Ultranauts Inc as a Quality Analyst II and Quality Analyst 1.

Alicia Pennington Harrison obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Health Information Management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
