Christine Haller has a strong background in clinical development and drug safety. Christine started their career as an Assistant Professor at UC San Francisco in 2000 and worked there until 2007. In 2007, they joined Amgen as an Executive Medical Director, Global Safety, where they worked until 2012. After that, they worked at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as an Executive Group Medical Director, Clinical Sciences from 2012 to 2014. Since 2014, they have been working at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., initially as the Vice President of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance, then as the Vice President of Global Clinical Development, and currently as the Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Development.
Christine Haller completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah from 1981 to 1986. Christine then pursued a Master of Science in Health and Medical Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1988 to 1991. Following that, they attended the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained their MD in Medicine.
